BE the Storm

You may be able to relate to feeling like you are IN a storm. After all, we are living in one supercell of a storm that is the ongoing pandemic. Everyone goes through storms throughout their lives. It’s called being Human. But, what if you could change your thinking so that you no longer were living IN a storm, but instead you WERE the storm? How might THAT way of thinking, change your circumstances? Change YOU?

Uggh…Feelings

Your feelings should be FELT. Feel them fully. Feel them without judgment, shame or guilt. Your feelings are important because they act as a beacon, telling you that you have some work to do.  Don’t skip this step because it will come back around. Our feelings can be stuffed, but they always bubble back up and wreak havoc on our mental and physical wellness. So, process them thoroughly and take the time you need for this important step. Once you have done that, you can sort them and actually move forward in a healthy way.

Give Your Mind Something Better

It doesn’t happen overnight, but you may surprise yourself as to how easy (and quick) it can actually be to transform your thoughts and energy! In the beginning of my own transformation, I thought affirmations were woo-woo and stupid, so I did some big-time eye rolls anytime anyone mentioned affirmations, BUT…when life got real lifey and brought about unbearable pain, I could see that my negativity would send me in a tailspin that I might not get out of.

Bottom line: I was desperate.

It could have been worse

Have you ever started something new, only to fall? Like…I’m talking a full-on face-plant? Have you made decision to try something scary-to-you only to have some hiccups that make you come to a screeching halt? I’m talking a full-on face-plant? What about those New Year’s Ressies that, all too often, turn into a big joke?
